Book layout and design
This utterly charming book does a magnificent job of helping parents involve and excite their firstborn with respect to the anticipation and arrival of a new sibling. Filled with unusually clever and entertaining rhymes (example: We grabbed the bags, quickly loaded the car. Mommy was breathing funny. She sounded bizarre!'), the story follows a family of sheep from a rush to the hospital through the baby's joyous first year. Several pages contain space for personalizing the book with photo additions as well as fill-in-the blanks for family member names and a myriad of baby milestones: first word, crawling, walking, favorite foods, holidays and more. The skillful illustrations are equally charming, and, together with the text, form a beautifully conceived gift to the entire family, a one-of-a-kind keepsake that will doubtless be treasured and revisited for many years to come! Packaged in a custom gift box and includes two pages of silly sheep stickers.
